Founders of Rose City Head & Neck, Drs. Sunshine Dwojak and Andrew Kroeker, are launching an independent surgical practice after over a decade in corporate medicine, driven by a shared mission to provide uncompromising, patient-centered care free from system constraints. It's because of this shared mission and determination these two surgeons aim to restore integrity and depth to modern medicine. After years within the constraints of large healthcare systems, Drs. Sunshine Dwojak and Andrew Kroeker saw how institutions often prioritized volume over outcomes. Despite being leaders within their specialty, their voices were lost. Now they want to be heard. Their vision: a practice where doing things with time, precision, and humanity guides every decision. Their partnership was forged in the operating room, where complementary expertise and mutual respect evolved into a shared mission: treat patients as whole people, not cases. Dr. Sunshine Dwojak, MD, MPH

The first in her family to attend college, Dr. Dwojak knows what it feels like to stand outside the medical system and be overwhelmed by it. Her goal is to translate a frightening diagnosis and a flood of information into something that patients can feel understood, knowledgeable, and safe.

Dr. Andrew Kroeker's approach is to treat the whole person, not just the disease. Specializing in the surgical treatment of skin cancers of the face, scalp, and neck; caring for patients from initial diagnosis through complex surgery, so the entire process is handled by a single surgeon.
